10 AMAZING BOHO WEDDING IDEAS

Updated: Jul 30, 2020

We had the pleasure of working with an extremely talented group of people recently for a 1970's Boho Elopement styled photoshoot. We were completely blown away by the quality and craftsmanship of the whole team who helped put this together.

The results created an idyllic boho setting featuring a beautiful scene, complete with all of the little details and of course, Delilah our classic wedding beetle.

A full list of the talented suppliers can be found at the end of this article.

From this experience we learnt of 10 amazing boho wedding ideas that you could implement to your own day. However if you live in the Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire or Buckinghamshire counties then we highly recommend the suppliers listed at the end of the article to make your day picture perfect.

Combining these 10 ideas together results in an amazing, bespoke theme for your wedding day.

Let's get into it!

The perfect way to make an entrance on your day. VW Beetles are perfect for the boho theme with their intimacy that they offer. And nothing is cuter than a VW Beetle! The Wedding Beetle featured here can be found at Honey's Weddings by clicking this link and is available in Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire & Bedfordshire.

After all the effort you go to for your big day, it pays dividends to hire photographer who specialises in your theme for perfect photos on the day. Ellen Sear has a natural talent for that vintage style.

No wedding is complete without flowers and a bouquet like the below is THE one for your Boho Wedding theme with it's natural, rustic styling. The bouquet pictured was created by The Flower Boutique.

Setting the scene is one of the most important parts of your theme. There are companies available where you can hire themed decorations and props to complete the setting. These beautiful details were supplied by The White Emporium.

It's those stand-out centre pieces that make a big impression. This beautiful banner, bunting and posters were hand-crafted by Tanyas Travels.

One of the best ways to make your wedding unique is the dress and in this case we have a beautiful jumpsuit. It's a real stand out piece and this one was handmade by Star Jasmine Studio.

Small details make a huge difference to the overall look of your wedding. Handmade jewellery is something to cherish and keep for the rest of your life which adds a touch of personalisation. Also they make for fantastic photos such as this! This beautiful ring was made by Oh Nora.

Make the jaw hit the floor with a bespoke one-off headpiece. Handmade macrame headpieces are perfect for that 70's Boho theme. This stunning piece was created by Cotton and Wild.

The wedding would not be complete without personalised stationary and these are amazing examples of what can be achieved. These were created by You Me Oui and are absolutely stunning with their 70's themed details.

10. Yourselves!

And of course, the day would not be complete without those who made it happen - you! Sit back, relax and enjoy the day and the hundreds of photos that will last a lifetime from a well thought-out theme.
